Father’s Day Gift Basket

Food gift basket tag

Struggling with what to get Dad, Grandfather, or that special man for Father’s Day, birthday, or other just a gift as a token of love and appreciation?  Why not create him an unique gift basket or gift cooler!  Fill a basket or cooler with chips, fruit, bottles of water or juice, crackers, cheeses, canned meats, pickled vegetables, breads, cakes, cookies, candy, popcorn, nuts, or condiments. If perishable foods are added, please use frozen bottles of water or frozen gel packs to maintain proper temperature of foods. 

You can add napkins, plates, and eating utensils.  

Hey, Dad may like you to add a few shop tools such as wrenches or screwdrivers or a few BBQ utensils.

Snowman Soup and Reindeer Biscuits

You can use this as a family project or a school group project!

You will only need a few items! 

For Individual small gifts, purchase plastic candy bags, boxes of hot chocolate with individual packets, ribbon, cookies.

For a family or group gift, you will need a box of hot chocolate with individual packets and a box of cookies or crackers.

You will love this project!  

Instructions # 1 are for individual small gifts.

After the 3 individual small gifts you can create with instructions #1,  you will find Instructions # 2 that makes family size boxes of Snowman Soup and Reindeer Biscuits.

Download  the pdf file above and print onto Avery 5164 labels. 

I really like using the Avery 5164 labels. They are self sticking.  All you have to do is apply to one side of a individual packet of hot chocolate! Insert the label packet into a plastic bag along with a couple cookies.  Tie with a bow!  Quick and Easy!

Download the above pdf file and cut along borders. if you have a hole puncher, punch a hole in the top where indicated on the pdf; otherwise, carefully cut an opening.  This is where you will insert a ribbon to tie the package.  Insert an individual packet or two of hot cocoa mix and a couple of cookies.  Tie the ribbon to secure the gift.

You will need a box of cookies  and box of hot chocolate packets.

Lay the chocolate packet box on its side.  Using glue stick, apply glue to the top of the box.  Make certain the edges have a good glue coating. Position the sheet onto the box of chocolate packets.


Position the print out onto the wet glue.


Cut along the edges of the box to remove excess paper.


Or reverse and trim with a paper trimming knife.


Or you can print out, cut along border, and glue to box.


For Reindeer Biscuits, print out the same pdf file for instructions #2. Attach to a box of cookies or crackers, following the above instructions steps for the hot chocolate mix box.

Thanksgiving Napkins Rings and Place Cards

These colorful napkins and place cards will add a little fall festive colors to your table setting. Need to give the kids something to do? These will make a great kid’s activity!

The napkin rings and place cards can be printed from these PDFs unto 8 ½ x 11 inch regular printer paper or card stock. Print, cut out, and fold as per the directions.

JPEG files are provided if you would like to use perforated card stock in your printer.

Fall Placecards PDF
The PDF will print 4 place cards on one sheet of 8 ½ x 11 inch paper. Print, cut out along the edges of the place cards, fold in half, and write names onto the place cards.

Napkin Rings PDF
The PDF will print 6 napkins rings onto one sheet of 8 ½ x 11 inch paper. Print, cut out along the edges of the place cards, attach a piece of tape to the edge, roll into a cylinder shape, and attach the two ends with the tape as shown in this photo. Roll a napkin and insert into the napkin ring.

Perforated Card Stock Printing:

Save the JPEG photos to your computer. Insert the perforated card stock into your printer and select the correct *label product name from your as per the instructions on the card stock package. SEE DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS BELOW if you are printer using Microsoft Word 2010. After printing, separate each card at the perforation line.

For place cards, fold in half and write names onto the cards.

For napkin rings, attach a piece of tape the edge, roll into a cylinder shape, and attach the two ends with the tape as shown in the photo above. Roll a napkin and insert into the napkin ring.

*In Microsoft Word 2010, select Mailings, Labels, click on the existing label, scroll down through the product numbers until to locate the correct name of your card stock labels, highlight the product name, click OK button, and new document button. The label outline will appear on screen. Insert the JPEG photo into one of the blocks, adjust the size as needed, and copy the photo. Paste this photo into the other label blocks and adjust as needed.
